About the Project

We are creating an original, multi-tenant insurance platform from scratch for a client in the German market. The system is designed as a central hub supporting the full lifecycle of a policy: from application acceptance, through verification and routing (direct/pool), to contract management, document management, status monitoring, commission, and reporting.

In the next stages, we plan to expand with a dedicated end-user application and a frontend module for advisors. Everything is based on a modern, modular API-first architecture, created according to security-by-design standards and GDPR.

You will join a cohesive 9-person team, where you will be responsible for the quality and automation of end-to-end tests of key business processes.

Responsibilities

• Designing, creating, and maintaining E2E automated tests for the new insurance platform.
• Verifying the correctness of data flow between the frontend (React/TS), backend (Java/Spring Boot), and external integrations.
• Implementing best practices in quality assurance (QA) in a greenfield project.
• Close collaboration with architects, developers, and the product team during domain requirements analysis.

Requirements

• Experience in the insurance industry (Insurance): Necessary – we are looking for someone who understands the specifics and domain processes (policies, applications, routing, commissions).
• Practical experience in E2E test automation: Ability to build and develop testing frameworks on a stack combining web and backend solutions.
• Knowledge of microservices architecture and APIs: Understanding of REST / SOAP/XML integration and event-driven communication (Kafka/RabbitMQ).
