Job description
About the Position
We're seeking a QA Engineer to join our team and help us ensure the quality of a complex business application built with TypeScript and React.
The product supports project management, resource planning, reporting, and collaboration across different roles and organizational structures. It combines rich business workflows, advanced permissions, and data-driven views in one platform.
This is an opportunity to work on a product where testing goes beyond simple scenarios - understanding business processes, user needs, and system interactions is a key part of delivering a high-quality solution.
This is a full-time (1 FTE), fixed-term contract from September 2026 until February 2027, dedicated to this product development project.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test suites for our TypeScript/React web application.
- Build and maintain end-to-end, integration, regression, and API tests.
- Test complex business workflows, multi-step processes, state transitions, and role-based permissions across different modules.
- Perform exploratory testing of new features and verify acceptance criteria.
- Investigate test failures, analyze defects, and support root cause analysis using logs, browser tools, and application data.
- Collaborate with developers and product managers to improve product quality and testability throughout the development lifecycle.
- Integrate automated tests with CI/CD pipelines and help ensure reliable releases.
- Use AI-powered tools (e.g. ChatGPT, GitHub Copilot) to support test design, automation, and daily QA activities.
Requirements
- 2+ years of commercial experience as a QA Engineer.
- Experience designing, building, and maintaining automated tests for modern web applications.
- Hands-on experience with Playwright, Cypress, Selenium, or similar automation frameworks.
- Experience testing applications built with React and TypeScript.
- Experience with API testing and automation (e.g. Postman, Swagger).
- Experience with end-to-end, regression, and exploratory testing.
- Familiarity with Git and CI/CD workflows.
- Experience testing complex workflows, user permissions, or data-driven applications.
- Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to quality.
- Good communication skills and experience working in Agile teams.
- Comfortable using AI-powered tools in day-to-day QA work.
- Polish C1 and English B2 or higher.
Nice to Have
- Experience with SQL and test data management.
- Experience with Docker and test environments.
- Experience extending automated tests within CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience with accessibility, performance, or security testing.
We Offer
- 100% remote setup and flexible hours
- Interesting, meaningful projects – we only take on the ones we truly believe in :-)
