QA Tester

About the Position

Rynekpierwotny.pl, the largest real estate portal in Poland, is looking for a QA Tester to join our team in Warsaw. We have been helping Poles find their dream homes for 17 years. Our portal is developed using a modern tech stack (React/TypeScript, Python Django, Playwright, GitLab CI), and quality is ensured by our 3-person QA team, which is an integral part of the software production process. We also use AI-based tools like Cursor and Claude. We don't expect experience with these tools at the start, but we value curiosity, openness to new technologies, and a willingness to learn new ways of working.

Responsibilities

• Functional testing of web applications on desktop and mobile devices
• Planning and executing manual and automated tests (E2E, API)
• Building test automation on the frontend using Playwright (TypeScript)
• Creating and maintaining test documentation: test plans, scenarios, business prioritization
• Testing REST APIs in Postman: verifying endpoints, preparing test collections
• Reporting bugs reliably with reproduction steps, visual materials, and full context
• Actively participating in requirement reviews and improving the production process
• Collaborating with developers, analysts, and the rest of the QA team, including from a UI/UX perspective

Requirements

• At least 2 years of experience in testing web applications, including practical experience in creating and maintaining automated tests
• Practical experience in automating E2E tests using Playwright
• Knowledge of TypeScript or JavaScript at a level that allows independent work with automated tests
• Designing test scenarios thoughtfully: knowing the difference between critical path and edge case
• Exploratory testing and not limiting yourself to scripts: able to go beyond what is described in the ticket
• Analyzing requirements before testing and able to formulate specific, measurable acceptance criteria
• Practical experience in testing REST APIs: verifying endpoints, HTTP statuses, and JSON structures (Postman or similar tool)
• Basic knowledge of SQL to independently verify data in the database
• Experience with test management tools (TestRail, Qase, YouTrack)
• Understanding of the CI/CD process and comfortable with GitLab/GitHub
• Creating clear bug reports with reproduction steps, screenshots, and context
• ISTQB Foundation Level certificate: passed or in progress

Nice to Have

• Understanding of Agile/Scrum and working well in short iterations
• Knowledge of Kubernetes and its purpose
• Interest in the real estate industry, which really facilitates understanding the business context
