About the Position
Our client, a leading software vendor providing solutions that optimize true omnichannel digital and physical business processes and customer journey, is looking for a QA AUTOMATION Engineer to join its R&D team – which is currently working on new and exciting additions to our product line.
Responsibilities
- Analyze business and technical requirements to determine system design, potential issues, and best possible solutions
- Design and development, research, and evaluation of technical decisions
- Take part in the full development/operational life cycle
- Documentation of processes
- Assigning tasks to the team and checking that they were fulfilled
Requirements
- 4 years of experience in functional and user interface
- 1-2 years of experience in test automation
- Proven experience in web testing
- Proven experience in writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test documentation
- Experience in BDD Automation
- Understanding of microservices architecture of boxes, the behavior of applications on various platforms
- Proven experience with project and test management tools (Jira, TestRail, Zephyr)
- Experience in testing API, Angular, Asp.NET (Postman) using tools like Postman or libraries like Requests and Pytest for API automation
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI)
- Proficiency in Python with a strong understanding of OOP concepts
- Proficiency with Git and platforms like GitHub, GitLab, or Bitbucket
- Upper-Intermediate English
