Team lead

About the Position

A global company with an R&D office in Kyiv, Ukraine, is looking for an R&D Development Manager. You will lead development projects, define technical and methodology strategies, and get highly involved in major architectural design, work plans, and efforts decisions. Your responsibilities include overseeing and controlling the engineering execution (process, control, quality, timelines) of multiple projects across a variety of business domains and locations. You will lead the overall office of 10 developers and QA activities with the potential to double the team capacity during 2024.

Responsibilities

• Lead development projects and define technical and methodology strategies
• Get involved in major architectural design, work plans, and efforts decisions
• Oversee and control the engineering execution (process, control, quality, timelines) of multiple projects
• Lead a team of 10 developers and QA activities
• Potential to double the team capacity during 2024

Requirements

• At least 5 years in software development with C#/.NET programming skills
• At least 2 years of experience managing an R&D group of developers
• Proven experience with frontend technologies (React, Angular, JavaScript, JQuery, HTML, CSS, LESS, etc.)
• Working experience with .NET Core 3.1-6 or.NET Framework 4.5-4.8
• Experience using Entity Framework and ADO.NET
• Substantial experience working with MS SQL Server, including querying, table design, indexing, and optimization
• Good understanding and experience in developing REST APIs
• Writing effective unit tests
• A good grasp of common web identity protocols: OAuth, OIDC, SAML, etc.
• Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., Azure)
• Building CI/CD automation pipelines
• Experience with Docker containers
• Independent and creative problem-solving attitude
• BSc in Computer Science is required
• Fluent in both verbal and written English
