About the Position

R&D Expert:in für pastöse Ready-to-Use-Systeme

ISG Personalmanagement GmbH, a renowned player in the construction materials industry, is offering an excellent career opportunity for a motivated R&D Expert for pastöse Ready-to-Use-Systems in Vienna, Austria. Responsibilities

  • Development + Laboratory Work

    • Development, optimization, and improvement of pastöse Ready-to-Use-Systems (plasters, fillers, paints, primers)
    • Production, testing, and evaluation of test specimens and sample series
  • Upscaling + Production Proximity

    • Support in transitioning new formulations into stable production processes
    • Technical assistance in production trials and continuous process optimization
  • Raw Material + Additive Expertise

    • Screening, performance analysis, and selection of suitable raw materials
    • Derivation of robust formulation-property relationships as a basis for further developments
  • International Collaboration

    • Technical coordination with R&D and QA teams at European sites
    • Occasional travel to support development projects
  • Team Leadership Perspective (after approx. 3-6 months)

    • Leading a small development team (2-3 people)
    • Expertise in the field, prioritization, method development, and knowledge transfer

Requirements

  • Successful technical degree (university/college) in Chemistry, Polymer Chemistry, Plastics Technology, Material Sciences, Mineralogy, or equivalent as a basic qualification
  • At least 5 years of relevant R&D experience in pastöse formulations/coatings/ready-to-use systems
  • In-depth knowledge of raw materials, standards, and testing methods
  • Enjoyment of a multi-dimensional role between laboratory, production, and practical application
  • Openness to interdisciplinary exchange and international collaboration, including project-related travel
  • Self-organization, solution orientation, precision, and quality awareness
  • Strong communication skills in German and English (at least C1 level), additional language skills are welcome
  • Proactive team player with a positive attitude and leadership qualities
