Responsibilities
We’re looking for a Regional Business Developer & Account Manager to lead supplier acquisition, onboarding, and account growth across our platform. This role combines strategic business development with operational execution, with a strong focus on building and managing supplier partnerships across diverse markets.
- Leverage data analysis to determine priorities, define key action items, and design structured action plans.
- Report on actions taken and measure their impact, ensuring accountability and transparency.
- Lead the acquisition and onboarding of new suppliers, including contract negotiations, commercial terms, and go-live readiness.
- Build strong, trust-based relationships with suppliers, positioning yourself as a long-term partner and advisor.
- Act as the escalation point for supplier challenges, resolving issues with a solutions-oriented approach.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand supplier networks in key markets.
- Drive growth initiatives with existing suppliers, including upselling opportunities and new product integrations.
- Contribute to the development of go-to-market strategies for supplier acquisition and regional expansion.
- Partner with Operations, Product, Customer Support, and Tech teams to streamline onboarding and account management processes.
- Track and analyze supplier performance data, using insights to improve efficiency and outcomes.
- Provide direct support to suppliers via Slack, Email, and WhatsApp when needed, ensuring issues are addressed promptly and effectively.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Accounting, or a related field, or equivalent experience in Sales, Business Development, or Account Management.
- Fluent in English; proficiency in additional languages is a plus.
- Proficient in Excel and Google Sheets; experience with Power BI and SQL is a plus.
- Ability to manage multiple onboarding projects simultaneously.
- Willingness to perform data entry tasks.
- Highly detail-oriented and process-driven; capable of establishing best practices for others.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Strong problem-solving mindset.
- Able to work independently in a remote, fast-paced environment.
About the Role
- The job is full-time, 5 days a week (weekdays and/or weekends) for 8 hours a day.
- You'll be employed as a contractor, so you'll have all the flexibility you need.
- We offer 4 paid weeks off.
