Release Manager (Mobile – iOS, Android & Backend)

About the Position

We are looking for a Release Manager to own the end-to-end release lifecycle for native mobile apps and supporting backend services, ensuring predictable delivery and clear communication across teams. You will coordinate planning, execution, risk management, and continuous improvement in release processes-apply to help drive reliable, high-quality releases.

Responsibilities

• Own the release calendar across iOS, Android, and backend platforms
• Coordinate release scope with Product, Engineering, QA, and Ops stakeholders
• Align priorities, timelines, and dependencies across teams to meet release targets
• Facilitate release readiness reviews and drive go/no-go decisions
• Oversee end-to-end release execution across build, testing, and deployment phases
• Coordinate mobile app submissions through the Apple App Store and Google Play
• Identify release risks, manage blockers, and coordinate rollback planning when needed
• Communicate release status, risks, and decisions through timely stakeholder updates
• Maintain release documentation, notes, and post-release summaries
• Drive continuous improvement of release processes, CI/CD pipelines, and quality gates

Requirements

• Release management experience (2+ years) across mobile and backend delivery
• Stakeholder management experience coordinating Product, Engineering, QA, and Ops
• Release planning skills for calendars, readiness reviews, and go/no-go decisions
• Strong CI/CD knowledge for build, test, and deployment automation
• Mobile release lifecycle expertise for iOS and Android store constraints
• Version control skills including consistent tagging, versioning, and branching strategies
• Upper-Intermediate English (B2) proficiency for clear written and spoken communication
• Strong organizational skills with high attention to detail
• Analytical problem-solving skills for risk identification and mitigation
• Calm execution skills under pressure during critical release windows

• API gateway experience for backend release compatibility and routing changes
