The Opportunity
We are seeking a highly motivated and results-oriented Semi-Senior to join our growing Transaction Advisory team. The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering high-quality transaction advisory engagements, including financial due diligence, business valuations, mergers and acquisitions support, and corporate restructuring assignments. This role offers an excellent opportunity to work with a diverse client portfolio across multiple industries while contributing to strategic business decisions.
Responsibilities
- Participate in and execute transaction advisory engagements, including mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, and capital-raising transactions.
- Perform financial due diligence reviews, identifying key risks, opportunities, and deal considerations.
- Conduct business valuations using appropriate valuation methodologies and prepare detailed valuation reports.
- Support corporate restructuring and financial consulting assignments through financial analysis and strategic recommendations.
- Develop robust financial models and perform quantitative analysis to support client decision-making.
- Prepare high-quality client deliverables, including reports, presentations, and transaction-related documentation.
- Assist clients in evaluating investment opportunities, business performance, and strategic growth initiatives.
- Collaborate with senior team members and clients to understand business needs and develop practical solutions.
- Supervise, coach, and support junior team members throughout project execution.
- Ensure compliance with professional standards, regulatory requirements, and firm methodologies.
- Contribute to business development initiatives, including proposal preparation, market research, and client relationship management.
- Work effectively within multidisciplinary and multicultural teams to deliver engagements successfully.
Qualifications and Experience
- Certifications: CIFA, FMVA, or equivalent certification is mandatory. CFA qualification or progression towards CFA designation will be an added advantage.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Experience: At least 3 years of experience in transaction advisory, including due diligence, financial modeling, business valuation, corporate restructuring, and financial consulting.
- Skills:
- Strong analytical, communication, and presentation skills.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and financial modeling tools. Data analytics expertise will be an added advantage.
- Strong project management and client-facing skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
- Experience working in a multicultural environment.
