Salesforce Developer

About the Position

Bitdefender, a global leader in cybersecurity, is seeking a Salesforce Developer (Mid–Senior) to join our team in Bucharest, Romania. In this hands-on role, you will design, build, and maintain scalable Salesforce solutions across Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and Partner/Experience Cloud. Collaborate closely with the Salesforce Technical Lead, Admins, Business Analysts, and QA to deliver high-quality code and configurations.

Responsibilities

Solution Development

• Design and implement Salesforce solutions based on functional and technical specifications.
• Develop Apex classes, triggers, Lightning Web Components, Flows, and validation logic following best practices.
• Implement secure and scalable data models, automation, and UI components.

Code Quality & Standards

• Produce clean, maintainable, and testable code aligned with platform and COE standards.
• Write unit tests and ensure adequate test coverage for all custom development.
• Participate in code reviews and incorporate feedback from the Technical Lead and peers.

DevOps & Release Management

• Work within established CI/CD pipelines (Gearset, Bitbucket pipelines, Bamboo, or similar Git-based workflows).
• Follow version control and branching strategies; support deployment activities across environments.
• Assist with release validation, hotfixes, and rollback procedures when required.

Collaboration & Delivery

• Collaborate with Business Analysts to clarify requirements and assess technical feasibility.
• Work closely with Salesforce Admins to ensure proper balance between configuration and code.
• Partner with QA to support testing, bug fixes, and regression validation.

Operational Support

• Investigate and resolve production issues with appropriate root cause analysis.
• Contribute to technical documentation and knowledge sharing within the team.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives, refactoring, and technical debt reduction.

Requirements

Technical Skills

• 3–6 years of Salesforce development experience.
• Strong hands-on experience with Apex, SOQL/SOSL, Lightning Web Components, and Flows.
• Solid understanding of Salesforce security model, sharing, and data access patterns.
• Experience integrating Salesforce with external systems using REST/SOAP APIs.
• Familiarity with DevOps tooling, CI/CD pipelines, and Git-based version control.

Professional Competencies

• Ability to work independently on assigned tasks with minimal supervision.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Clear written and verbal communication in a cross-functional environment.
• Comfortable working in an agile/Scrum delivery model.

Certifications (Preferred)

• Salesforce Platform Developer I (strongly preferred)
• Salesforce Platform Developer II (nice to have)
• Salesforce JavaScript Developer I (nice to have)
