About the Position

Evolution Gaming is looking for a passionate Scala Programmer to join our team in Riga, Latvia. If you are a fervent supporter of functional programming and have experience with Scala, Akka, Play, Sbt, Spray, Haskell, BigData, Spark, Hadoop, Java, Spring, and Hibernate, we want you on our team!

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain scalable backend services using Scala and related technologies.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions.
• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code.

Requirements

• Passion for functional programming.
• Good knowledge of English.
• Experience with Scala, Akka, Play, Sbt, Spray, Haskell, BigData, Spark, Hadoop, Java, Spring, and Hibernate.
• Good knowledge of HTML and CSS.

Nice to Have

• Experience with JavaScript.
