About the Position

We're hiring a Software Developer in Test (SDET) to join the quality engineering team on one of Caseware's SaaS Platform teams-driving scalable, modern approaches to testing, automation, and developer enablement. Reporting into the Central Quality function and working within the SE Platform team, this role is uniquely positioned to drive the quality strategy across foundational platform areas that underpin our most critical innovations.

Requirements

• 2+ years' experience working in Quality Engineering teams within modern SaaS or platform organizations in cloud-native environments (AWS).
• Expertise in working with scaling automated testing infrastructure, including integration with modern CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Workflows).
• Knowledge of testing strategies and tools across the pyramid, from unit to E2E, including api contract and integration testing (Cypress, Pact, K6).
• Solid front-end knowledge and testing fluency in HTML/CSS and JavaScript/TypeScript, enabling effective collaboration across full-stack teams.
• Familiarity with observability tools and best practices for improving test signal and pipeline feedback loops.
• Strong communication and coaching skills with the ability to influence fellow engineering and product stakeholders across the org.

Nice to Have

• Experience leading testing initiatives for distributed teams across multiple regions
• Experience in integrating QA tools like Zephyr Scale and on-prem CI/CD systems (GitHub)
• A strategic growth mindset paired with a desire to learn and mentor others with a pragmatic, system-thinking approach to quality at scale.
• Keen interest and knowledge of the latest industry trends in AI powered Testing tools like CoPilot, Devin and Claude will be a bonus.
