You will contribute by analyzing systems, evaluating risks, and implementing concrete improvements. Typical tasks from IT operations, infrastructure monitoring, or SOC are not the focus of this role. Instead, you can expect:

Responsibilities

• You analyze systems and applications, identify security risks, and derive concrete improvement measures.
• You conduct security assessments and security tests for applications, APIs, cloud environments, and other technical systems.
• You design and develop viable security solutions with other engineers and stakeholders and evaluate technical approaches.
• You support security improvements from analysis through design to implementation in real systems.
• You verify the effectiveness of measures and continuously develop existing solutions.

Requirements

• You have 2–4 years of practical experience in IT security or software development and have worked on real systems.
• You understand how modern systems and applications are structured (e.g., APIs, Cloud), can assess security risks, and develop solutions for them.
• You work analytically and solution-oriented, want to truly understand systems, and can discuss technical topics clearly.
• You have very good German and English skills (at least C1 level) for clear and secure communication within the team and with our partners.
• You want to not only operate or monitor security, but actively integrate it into applications and systems and develop technical security solutions.

Salary Information

Within our salary framework, the gross annual salary for the position falls within a range of 58,000 – 70,000 EUR per year and is based on various factors such as qualification and experience.
