Job description

About the Position

Senior Agile Coach (all genders)

Join our team in a permanent, full-time position in one of our locations: Berlin, Erlangen, Leipzig, or Münster.

Become part of our mission

Agility is deep in our DNA. Since processes, methods, and work culture can rarely be separated from each other, we ensure that our teams reach their full potential through continuous coaching. There is no blueprint for excellence: we draw on a whole collection of approaches and frameworks that we use and develop.

Through inspiration, reflection, provocation, and passion, our Agile Coaches guide their teams through the discovery process to the best course of action for each of our clients’ complex challenges.

Responsibilities

  • Work directly with employees, teams, and communities of practice to actively contribute to the development of an agile working environment that focuses on continuous improvement and high performance.
  • Empower and coach teams, communities of practice, and individuals within the company.
  • Support the identification, implementation, and maintenance of suitable organizational forms as an agile organizational designer.
  • Actively support our customers as an agile consultant-providing training or offering other services independently.
  • Promote self-management within teams and strengthen independent work, collaboration, and exchange by relying on agile frameworks without being dogmatic.
  • Orchestrate agile values at the organizational level and promote the agile mindset and an agile leadership culture.
  • Drive the development of the entire company through professional input and the continuous exchange of knowledge and experience with your Agile Coach colleagues.
  • Occasionally speak at events, moderate workshops, or accompany change processes as an agile ambassador.

Requirements

  • Several years of leadership experience, possibly in a practice-oriented, outcome-oriented environment.
  • Expertise in agile methods and organizational forms with a passion for constantly expanding your repertoire.
  • Practical and in-depth experience with well-known frameworks such as Scrum, SAFe/LeSS, Kanban, or OKR.
  • Familiarity with terms such as psychological safety, responsibility process, experiment culture, situational leadership, and holacracy.
  • Several years of professional experience in agile teams (e.g., as a PO, Scrum Master, or as a member of an agile development team).
  • Excellent methodological knowledge and practical experience in workshop design, training, team development, and moderation.
  • Ability to thrive in a dynamic environment, coordinate multiple tasks simultaneously, and maintain a clear overview even when priorities shift.
  • Ability to put yourself in your counterpart’s shoes and communicate on an equal footing.
  • A viewpoint that encompasses the whole system: understanding what it requires to turn a group of people into a successful team.
  • Empathetic, committed, and inspiring others with your enthusiasm and passion.
  • Language skills enabling you to perform your role in German and English (at least C1 level).
