Senior AI Engineer (Python/ML)

About the Position

The objective of this project is to drive rapid innovation in AI/ML by accelerating the development and deployment of advanced applications, with a primary focus on LLM-based chatbots and generative AI solutions. We are seeking a highly skilled and innovative Senior AI Engineer to join our dynamic team in Shanghai, China.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deploy scalable AI/ML solutions using LLMs, generative AI, and advanced machine learning techniques
• Design and implement Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) frameworks for enhanced information retrieval
• Build and maintain robust RESTful APIs for seamless AI and ML model integration
• Utilize Python and scientific computing stacks for data preprocessing, model development, and automation
• Develop, train, and optimize machine learning models for natural language understanding and generation
• Deploy and scale AI/ML applications on AWS cloud infrastructure
• Implement CI/CD pipelines to streamline delivery and updates of AI/ML solutions
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate AI and ML capabilities into business processes
• Communicate complex AI and ML concepts clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Stay current with advancements in AI, ML, NLP, and cloud technologies

Requirements

Technical Skills:

• Hands-on experience in AI Engineering and backend development
• Deep knowledge of machine learning, specializing in large language models (LLMs) and generative AI
• Proficient in Python, with a strong grasp of scientific computing stacks essential for AI development
• Expertise in Natural Language Processing (NLP) techniques and models, including syntax, semantics, and common NLP libraries (e.g., NLTK, Spacy)
• Familiarity with Retrieval Augmented Generation (RAG) and other innovative AI techniques
• Proven experience in architecting, developing, and maintaining scalable AI applications
• Solid experience with building and managing Restful APIs for AI model interaction
• Experienced in using AWS cloud infrastructure and services for deploying and scaling AI applications
• Experienced in implementing CI/CD pipelines to enhance development workflows

Non-Technical Skills:

• Strong communication skills with the ability to explain complex AI concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Being a good problem solver and adaptable to new developments in the fast-paced AI field
• Critical thinking skills necessary for analyzing situations, assessing data, and determining the most effective AI strategies
