Senior Appian Developer

About the Position

We are seeking a Senior Appian Developer to support and maintain business process automation solutions on the Appian platform, with a primary focus on design, development, incident resolution, and enhancement delivery. This role ensures the stability and health of the production environment while building scalable, high-quality solutions aligned with Appian best practices, working closely with business stakeholders, production users, and cross-functional teams to customize platform capabilities and deliver effective process automation outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Conduct incident resolutions
• Facilitate building enhancements
• Ensure the stability and health of the production environment
• Design, build, and support end-to-end Appian applications including architecture, development, deployment, and maintenance
• Design and implement Appian solutions aligned with business and technical requirements
• Customize Appian solutions to address business needs and platform limitations
• Ensure adherence to Appian development standards and best practices
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business requirements into scalable solutions
• Support deployment, release management, and environment configuration

Requirements

• 5+ years of overall IT experience
• 3+ years of hands-on experience designing and developing solutions on the Appian platform
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• Understanding of Appian objects such as Records, Reports, Interfaces, Process Models, CDTs, Constants, and Rules
• Expertise in customizing Appian to address platform limitations
• Familiarity with Appian Plug-ins, Sites, and SAIL UI design
• Proficiency in SQL, XML, and web service integrations (REST/SOAP)
• Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills
• Proficiency in English at a B2+ level
