Senior Automation Tester (FM/Banking experience)

About the Position

We are seeking a Senior Automation Tester with FM/Banking experience to join our Financial Market Team in Bengaluru, India. Our team is dedicated to providing world-class technology to support the bank's Financial Markets business, working specifically on the bank's in-house built pricing, execution, and trade processing platform.

Responsibilities

• Interact with product management, project management, and development teams to develop a strong understanding of the project and testing objectives.
• Coordinate between onshore and offshore teams.
• Participate in troubleshooting and triaging of issues with different teams to drive towards root cause identification and resolution.
• Design and create test conditions, test data, and test scripts to address business and technical use cases.
• Use existing tools and techniques to execute test cases and build/script new tools for performing testing/validation functions.
• Develop and lead the automation strategy/effort and generate scripts to perform automated testing cycles using Selenium & Cucumber.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in software test design and testing methodologies.
• FM/Banking experience is a must.
• Solid knowledge of core JAVA, API Testing, SQL, Shell scripting.
• Hands-on experience with the following automated build/testing tools:
  • Selenium
  • BDD/Cucumber
  • XML
  • Cypress
  • GIT/ADO Repos
  • ADO/Confluence
  • ADO Boards/ADO Test Plan
• Agile Methodology exposure.
• Good exposure to Database testing concepts.
• Familiar with DevOps CI/CD (Jenkins/Groovy/YAML/ADO Pipeline).
• Good understanding of Java/JEE tech stack based applications.
• Integration technology expertise: API, FTP, WebServices & Solace Messaging.
