About the Position

We are seeking a Senior Civil Engineer specializing in water resources to manage and develop projects in the Florida region.

Responsibilities

Manage civil/water resources study and design projects.
Develop business in the Florida region.
Develop hydrologic and hydraulic models of municipal stormwater systems.
Prepare drainage studies and stormwater masterplans.
Analysis and design of municipal neighborhood improvements including stormwater facilities (open channels, culverts, storm sewers, detention basins, etc.).
Address resiliency, LID, Sea Level Rise, and climate change impacts in design.
Preparation of plans and specifications for construction.
Performing quality control of stormwater models, reports, and/or design.
Permitting with local, state, and federal permitting agencies.
Preparation of competitive proposals and participation in interviews.
Represent Baxter & Woodman at municipal and developer meetings.
