Senior Cloud Engineer

About the Position

We are looking for a strong Senior Cloud Engineer to join our team.

In this role, you will play an important part in maintaining and evolving cloud-based infrastructure that supports business-critical operations. You will collaborate with multiple cross-functional teams to ensure reliable, secure, and well-automated environments.

Responsibilities

• Provision virtual machines in the GCP cloud platform, install required software, and configure the Windows operating system and networking components
• Develop Terraform and Puppet modules along with PowerShell scripts to support infrastructure automation and configuration
• Actively triage incoming bugs and resolve them based on priority levels
• Provide daily status updates to management on support tickets reviewed and addressed
• Deliver daily support, maintenance, and documentation of infrastructure components
• Collaborate closely with network, security, and application teams to ensure smooth operations
• Monitor, track, and report on application health and availability metrics
• Contribute to automation initiatives, with the ability to learn Worksoft Scripting Automation if no prior experience is available
• Drive and resolve complex issues involving multiple systems, teams, and technologies
• Perform Worksoft installation on Windows servers and provide ongoing maintenance on the GCP platform

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related technical field
• At least 3 years of relevant development and infrastructure experience
• Strong scripting skills in PowerShell and UNIX shell for automation and system administration tasks
• Hands-on experience in network or Linux system administration and troubleshooting
• Familiarity with configuration management tools such as Puppet or Ansible for managing infrastructure at scale
• Production experience with Linux and Windows administration in Google Cloud or another cloud provider
• Working knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) frameworks such as Terraform for provisioning and managing cloud resources
• Excellent oral and written communication skills in English (B2+ level or higher)

Nice to Have

• Programming experience with one or more scripting languages such as Python or Go for building automation tools and supporting infrastructure operations
