About the Role

As a Senior Consultant in Cloud Security, you will advise our clients on making their cloud and hybrid environments secure, protected, and continuously monitored. You will work at the intersection of security architecture, cloud platforms, and infrastructure-in various client projects, from medium-sized companies to enterprise environments and critical infrastructures.

You will combine deep technical know-how with consulting expertise: You will analyze, design, and support the implementation of modern cloud security architectures, zero trust frameworks, and security operations solutions.

Responsibilities

• Advising clients on cloud security strategies, zero trust architectures, and security concepts
• Designing and implementing cloud security architectures including network segmentation, PKI, and secrets management
• Establishing and optimizing security monitoring and threat detection (Microsoft Sentinel, XDR, SIEM/SOAR)
• Conducting cloud security assessments, threat modeling, and risk analyses
• Implementing cloud security hardening measures (Azure Baseline, Azure Policy, CSPM)
• Supporting incident response planning, playbooks, and business continuity management
• Designing backup and recovery architectures and cyber recovery strategies (including ransomware recovery)
• Advising on AI security architecture, AI threat modeling, and digital sovereignty architectures

Requirements

• Several years of experience in cloud security, IT security, or security architecture
• Solid knowledge of at least one cloud platform: Microsoft Azure, AWS, or GCP
• Understanding of zero trust principles, security monitoring, threat detection, and identity security
• Experience with security monitoring tools (e.g., Microsoft Sentinel), SIEM/SOAR, or XDR solutions
• Ability to explain technical security concepts to clients and independently design security architectures

Nice to Have

• Certifications (e.g., SC-200: Microsoft Security Operations Analyst; SC-100: Microsoft Cybersecurity Architect; SC-500: Microsoft Azure Security Technologies)
• Experience in consulting projects or external client environments
• Knowledge of regulatory requirements (e.g., ISO 27001, BSI-Grundschutz, NIS2, KRITIS)
• Experience with infrastructure as code (Terraform, Bicep) and security automation
• Knowledge of CSPM, CNAPP, CWPP, or CIEM tools
