Responsibilities

• Create Original Content: Develop engaging social-first content for TikTok, Instagram Reels, and YouTube Shorts, including appearing on camera.
• Trend Monitoring: Stay updated on culture and platform trends, and quickly capitalize on relevant opportunities.
• Content Strategy: Own and execute the content social strategy, including audience targeting, platform mix, content pillars, posting cadence, and growth targets.
• Content Calendar Management: Manage the multi-channel organic content calendar with a steady flow of fresh ideas and formats.
• Influencer Program: Direct the influencer and creator program, including sourcing, briefing, content approval, and relationship management.
• UGC Program: Lead the user-generated content (UGC) program to source and boost high-performing content for paid social.
• Agency Coordination: Serve as the primary point of contact for external social and influencer agency partners.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Contribute to product marketing and brand campaigns, working with various teams.
• Customer Service: Strengthen customer service communications to ensure Greenlight's positive presence in social media interactions.
• Reporting and Analytics: Own social reporting and analytics, sharing learnings and continuously optimizing content.

Requirements

• Experience: 6+ years in social media with hands-on creation experience. Portfolio or reel required.
• Organic Growth: Proven track record of growing accounts organically. Provide examples of accounts you've grown and the strategies used.
• On-Camera Comfort: Genuine comfort and natural presence on camera.
• Video Skills: Strong end-to-end video skills, including shooting, editing, writing hooks, and cutting for retention.
• Platform Fluency: Deep understanding of TikTok and Instagram algorithms.
• Cultural Awareness: Ability to turn cultural moments into posts quickly.
• Audience Understanding: Knowledge of Greenlight's audiences and strategies to grow reach in social media.
• Influencer Management: Experience building and running influencer or creator programs.
• Agency Management: Experience managing external agencies is a plus.
• Consumer Brand Experience: Experience with consumer brands or speaking to parents and teens is a plus.
