Senior Data Integration Engineer

Responsibilities

• Build, implement, and manage efficient data integration pipelines and workflows
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to guarantee smooth data transfer aligned with business requirements
• Improve existing data integration processes for better scalability and performance
• Utilize data transformation and validation methods to uphold high data quality standards
• Participate in designing and executing comprehensive data integration strategies that support project goals
• Identify and fix technical issues related to data integration systems
• Create thorough documentation covering data integration workflows, processes, and best practices
• Follow security and data governance policies during all integration work

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related discipline is required
• 5+ years of practical experience in data integration involving complex data systems is necessary
• Solid understanding of SDLC methodologies and how they apply to data projects
• Skilled in using Agile methodologies to deliver effective data integration outcomes
• Advanced SQL skills for managing and querying relational databases
• Hands-on experience with NoSQL databases for handling semi-structured and unstructured data
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines for automating data integration workflows
• English fluency, both written and spoken, at a B2 level or above

Nice to Have

• Familiarity with cloud-based platforms and tools used for data integration
• Knowledge of big data technologies and frameworks designed for processing large-scale datasets
