Senior Designer

About the Position

At the moment, we are seeking a talented Senior Designer to join our team. Our client is a design agency focused on creating forward-thinking digital products for SaaS brands, Tech Startups, and Software Teams. They're a fun team of creative designers and dreamers who help their clients meet digital visions and produce stunning results. They focus on delivering great experiences that serve our clients and help grow their future-focused brands.

Responsibilities

• Establish strong design systems, layouts, and wireframes;
• Design beautiful user interfaces while focusing on the overall digital experiences for the end-user;
• Provide concepts and UX direction for client projects, from inception to implementation;
• Experiment, test, and validate all design solutions to ensure that each decision was intentional and strategic;
• Apply a human-centered design methodology approach and best practices to ensure that client needs and business goals are met and on-brand;
• Work collaboratively and support the other designers by implementing design thinking and design methodologies;
• Overall solid "design intuition";
• You'll primarily work on app design (UI/UX), but our desired candidate can also assist with web design and graphic design projects.

Requirements

• Strong understanding of Typography;
• Attention to detail is key for us;
• A minimum of 3 years of product design/web design experience and a relevant work portfolio that shows a strong product design process;
• Proficiency in design software including Figma, InVision, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Sketch, and other visual design tools;
• Good understanding of strategy and the ability to articulate the ‘why’, ‘when’, and ‘how’ of a project to clients;
• Multi-disciplinary, with a solid foundation of design theory and practical tools;
• Excellent visual design skills;
• Curious to understand client needs, and industry trends;
• Someone who takes pride in their work and will take full ownership of their projects, beginning to end.
