As a Senior Developer SAP EWM (m/w/d) or Senior Technical Consultant SAP EWM (m/w/d), you will take on a central role in the technical implementation of sophisticated warehouse logistics solutions. You will develop extensions and interfaces in the SAP EWM environment, bring your experience in high-performance and maintainable software, and shape solutions together with our EWM community that truly work in everyday operations.

Responsibilities

• You design and develop extensions and interfaces in the SAP EWM environment with ABAP OO, consistently ensuring maintainable, sustainable, and clean solutions.
• You develop technical solution designs for new requirements in the warehouse and logistics environment together with the domain and project team, translating complex business processes into high-performance software.
• You ensure high software quality, for example, through code reviews, ABAP-Unit, performance optimization, and well-documented code.
• You work on the further development of existing solutions and ensure that technical quality, stability, and extensibility fit together in the long term.
• You actively participate in innovation projects and deal with modern SAP technologies such as SAP BTP, Event Mesh, ABAP RAP, CDS, or API-based extension scenarios.
• You work closely with developer and consultant colleagues, bring your technical perspective into solution finding early, and support the structured implementation of complex requirements.
• You actively share your knowledge in the team, discuss best practices, support technical development in everyday life, and contribute to an open, learning-oriented team culture.

Requirements

• You bring several years of experience in ABAP development in the SAP EWM environment.
• You work according to clean code principles and value understandable, modular, and well-maintainable code as well as clean object-oriented design.
• You have high demands on software quality and ideally have experience with unit tests, ATC, code reviews, or performance optimization.
• You are interested in modern SAP technologies such as SAP S/4HANA, CDS, OData, REST APIs, ABAP RAP, or SAP Fiori/UI5 and are keen to actively work on new topics.
• You enjoy working in a team, share your knowledge, think proactively, and actively contribute ideas, questions, and suggestions to the collaboration.
• You communicate confidently in German and English.
