Senior DevOps Engineer

About the Position

Responsibilities

• Designing and implementing Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform/OpenTofu, CloudFormation, Pulumi
• Configuring and working with secret managers such as Vault, 1Password Enterprise, AWS Secrets Manager, Akeyless
• Designing and configuring security-focused networks
• Deep understanding of networking protocols, security concepts, and encryption methods including: TLS v1.2 & v1.3, SSH, Public-key infrastructure (PKI), RSA, Ecliptic-curve cryptography (ED25519), VPNs
• Recent hands-on AWS experience in a production environment: Elastic Container Service (ECS), EC2, RDS, ElastiCache, S3, Certificate Manager, IAM, VPC, API Gateway
• Writing technical documentation, including run/play books, troubleshooting guides, root cause analysis, and infrastructure setup
• Communicating in Upper Intermediate level of English (written and spoken)

Requirements

• 2+ years of designing and implementing Infrastructure as Code (IaC – Terraform/OpenTofu, CloudFormation, Pulumi)
• 2+ years of configuring and working with secret managers (Vault, 1Password Enterprise, AWS Secrets Manager, Akeyless)
• 3+ years of designing and configuring security-focused networks
• Deep understanding of networking protocols, security concepts, and encryption methods including: TLS v1.2 & v1.3, SSH, Public-key infrastructure (PKI), RSA, Ecliptic-curve cryptography (ED25519), VPNs
• 5+ years of recent hands-on AWS experience in a production environment: Elastic Container Service (ECS), EC2, RDS, ElastiCache, S3, Certificate Manager, IAM, VPC, API Gateway
• Experience in writing technical documentation, including run/play books, troubleshooting guides, root cause analysis, and infrastructure setup
• Upper Intermediate level of English (written and spoken)

Nice to Have

• Portfolio/samples of technical writing
• Experience with penetration testing
• Knowledge of SOC2 preparation
• Experience with APM tools such as Honeycomb, Grafana, Sentry, and Rollbar
• Experience with ModBus, BACNet, MQTT, and/or FOX(S)
• AWS certifications
