About the Position
We are looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer to join our global team and lead the migration of over 100 microservices to GCP (Google Kubernetes Engine). This role is based in Kraków with a hybrid work model.

About the Project
Your goal will be to not only enable the smooth transfer of applications to a new platform but also to build solid foundations for monitoring, observability, and system reliability. The project involves migrating over 100 microservices to GCP (Google Kubernetes Engine).
We operate on the principle of "You build it, you run it" – we focus on small, frequent deployments and full responsibility for what goes into production.
Responsibilities
- Designing and developing a platform on GCP/GKE for hundreds of microservices.
- Collaborating with development teams on deploying applications to Kubernetes.
- Supporting Java and Python services (Helm, configuration, secrets, scaling).
- Building and standardizing CI/CD for containers (build, tests, security, deploy, rollback).
- Developing an observability stack (metrics, logs, tracing – e.g., Grafana, Prometheus, Loki, Tempo).
- Creating dashboards, alerts, and SLO reports.
- Maintaining production stability: incident analysis, RCA, preventive actions.
- Reducing technical debt and optimizing the platform.
- Collaborating in an international environment and sharing knowledge.
Requirements
- Solid experience with Kubernetes (preferably GKE).
- Experience working with large-scale microservices architecture.
- Experience with Java and Python in a containerized environment.
- Knowledge of observability tools (Grafana stack is highly desirable).
- Ability to build CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience with Terraform / IaC.
- "Production-first" approach – reliability, incident handling, continuous improvement.
- Language skills: Polish and English at least at B2 level.
- Nice to have:
- Knowledge of GCP services (IAM, VPC, Cloud Monitoring/Logging, Artifact Registry).
- Experience with standardizing Helm charts.
- Working with Service Mesh (Istio) or API Gateway.
- Knowledge of security practices (container scanning, policy-as-code).
