About the Position
We are seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer with AWS to join our team in Remote Romania, focusing on building and maintaining monitoring and diagnostics systems.
Responsibilities
- Analyze, design, and implement solutions for Edge using AWS Greengrass components.
- Build the code and logic required for optimal extraction, transformation, and loading of data from a wide variety of data sources using Python or programming languages.
- Build analytics solutions that provide valuable insights for clients and end users.
- Work in an agile project team which has specific goals and deliverables.
- Translate business demands into architecture requirements.
- Provide technical support and/or leadership in the creation and delivery of technology solutions designed to meet customers' business needs.
- Shape technical direction and technical strategies within the organization and for external customers.
- Guide the project team members on specific deliverables.
Requirements
- Degree in Computer Science, IT, or similar field
- 6+ years of relevant working experience as a DevOps Engineer or in a similar role
- Technical expertise with CI/CD
- Terraform and Infrastructure as Code
- CI/CD tools: GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins, Azure DevOps
- Docker and Kubernetes
- Python and/or Bash scripting
- Monitoring and observability tools: CloudWatch, Grafana, Prometheus
- Understanding of cloud security and networking
- Understanding of Industrial IoT
- AWS, GreenGrass IoT
- Experience in real-time data processing systems
- Hands-on experience with SQL database design
- Great numerical and analytical skills
- Strong ownership, accountability, and commitment to delivery deadlines
- Resilience
- Proactive and effective communication
