About the Position

Senior Finance Analyst, LATAM (all genders)

Distribusion is the world’s leading ground transportation marketplace, providing seamless access to ground transportation online. We connect bus, rail, and ferry operators in over 70 countries with major online retailers like Google Maps and Booking.com. As we continue to grow, we are looking for a Senior Finance Analyst to join our team in LATAM. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to team growth and optimize our financial operations across Chile and Colombia.

Responsibilities

Review and optimize the local accounting setup across LATAM entities, ensuring accuracy in invoicing, reconciliations, and daily operations.
Implement financial controls, including banking mandates, approval flows, cash flow monitoring, and forecasting.
Partner with the Global Market Lead and country heads on P&Ls, deal pipeline, and profitability, flagging underperforming deals and proposing corrective actions.
Serve as the first point of contact for finance-related questions in the region, providing financial input into commercial decisions.
Own local budgeting and forecasting, from annual budget planning to rolling revenue, cost, and cash forecasts.
Manage relationships with external accounting providers, assessing quality, cost, and scalability.
Collaborate with internal teams to resolve partner issues related to invoicing or payments.

Requirements

Experienced finance professional across accounting, controlling, and financial operations.
Foundational understanding of accounting principles and local tax/compliance requirements across LATAM.
Solid FP&A skills: budgeting, forecasting, and profitability analysis.
Proficient in Excel or Google Sheets, skilled in advanced formulas, pivot tables, and data analysis.
Comfortable operating as both a senior leader and a hands-on doer.
Fluent in English and Spanish and/or Portuguese.

Nice to Have

Exposure to group reporting under IFRS.
Experience with ERP systems, such as DATEV, NetSuite, Xero, SAP, or Microsoft Dynamics.
Experience in tech or marketplace businesses.
