About the Project

Join the team of a market leader in the insurance sector, where technology meets scale. We are building a modern ecosystem based on microservices architecture, Java 21+, Spring Boot 3+, and Angular 17+. The system supports complex business processes, a large number of operations, and integrates with many internal and external services. We focus on clean code, automation, high system availability, monitoring, and scalability.

Your Technology Profile

In our daily work, we use a modern technology stack. We are looking for someone who feels at home in both worlds:

• Backend: Java 21+, Spring Boot 3+, Spring Security, Hibernate/JPA, jOOQ, Liquibase, MapStruct, Lombok
• Frontend: Angular 17+, TypeScript, NgRx, RxJS, PrimeNG, TailwindCSS, Jest.
• Architecture: Microservices, REST API, gRPC, event-driven architecture, Kubernetes, Docker, GitOps.
• Databases: PostgreSQL, MS SQL Server, Redis.
• Tools: GitLab, IntelliJ IDEA Ultimate, SonarQube, ArgoCD, Helm, Jira, Confluence.

Nice to Have:

Experience with containerization tools (Docker, Kubernetes, Tanzu).

Experience with cloud computing, observability, and monitoring tools: Grafana, Prometheus, Instana, Sentry, or Datadog.

Responsibilities

• Designing and implementing scalable microservices in the Java ecosystem.
• Creating responsive and efficient user interfaces in Angular.
• Ensuring code quality through Code Review and writing tests (Unit/Integration Testing).
• Participating in designing microservices architecture in collaboration with Solution Architects and DevOps teams.
• Mentoring junior team members and sharing technical knowledge.

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of experience in commercial software development.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in commercial software development in Java and Angular.
• Very good knowledge of Java, Spring Boot, and a good understanding of the Angular framework.
• Practical knowledge of design patterns (SOLID, DRY, KISS) and microservices design principles.
• Experience working with distributed architecture and systems based on REST API, message broker, gRPC.
• Analytical thinking skills - the insurance industry has complex business logic.
