Senior iOS Developer

About the Position

We are looking for a skilled and experienced Senior iOS Developer to join our dynamic team in Hungary and help shape the development of cutting-edge mobile applications.

Responsibilities

• You will be responsible for the implementation of the features described in the requirement specifications and design documents
• Design and implement sub-systems or whole solutions
• Mentor less experienced team members
• Conduct code reviews
• Work within a distributed global team of developers to complete proposed initiatives, contributing application architecture and implementation guidance
• Quickly gain an understanding of our clients’ requirements, technology needs, and solution architecture
• Collaborate with clients and internal teams to develop appropriate solutions
• Brainstorm with team members and prove ability to think on the fly

Requirements

• Swift hands-on experience (3+ years of experience)
• Design patterns (GoF and iOS-specific) and application architecture
• MVVM architecture-based development experience
• Dependency Injection
• Experience with both UIKit and SwiftUI
• Networking (REST APIs, JSON parsing, URLSession)
• Concurrency (GCD, Operations, async/await) and debugging threading issues
• Unit testing
• Git (proficiency with workflows like branching, PRs, conflict resolution)
• Third-party Library Integration (CocoaPods, Carthage, Swift Package Manager)
• Experience working in Agile teams
• Good command of English: Intermediate spoken level and higher
• Mentorship (coaching less experienced developers)
• SOLID/DRY/YAGNI coding principles

Nice to Have

• Experience with React Native is a huge plus
• CI/CD pipeline setup and maintenance (e.g., Fastlane, GitHub Actions)
• Swift Testing
• Animation Libraries (Lottie, Core Animation)
• Feature Flags (feature toggling frameworks)
• Objective-C (legacy code familiarity)
