About the Role

The Finance, Controlling & Procurement department consolidates all financial, accounting, and bookkeeping tasks within gematik – from the procurement of services to the awarding of large-scale projects, through to invoicing, the creation of annual corporate planning, and reporting to our shareholders.

Responsibilities

• You lead interdisciplinary award teams, consisting of experts from within the company and other internal stakeholders, in the spirit of agile matrix management and guide complex IT or IT major projects to award readiness.
• You take primary responsibility, independently, and legally secure complex below and above-threshold IT award procedures (according to VgV and UVgO) from market research through to negotiation and award.
• Complex procedures are tackled together. You work hand in hand in a duo with our experienced internal seniors and experts. You complement each other, utilize the in-house knowledge built up over years, and thus ensure the success of the award.
• You actively involve juniors and interns in your major projects, provide them with technical guidance, and thereby promote their development and the sustainable success of the entire team.
• You manage commercial contract management including effective change and claim management for long-term strategic IT projects and framework contracts.
• As a central and assertive contact person for our technical departments, you ensure the contractually agreed delivery of services and keep an eye on the relevant interfaces at all times.

Requirements

• Education: You have a completed degree (Uni/FH) in Business Administration, Business Engineering, Business Informatics, Law, or a comparable qualification.
• Experience: You bring solid, multi-year professional experience in a procurement office or strategic IT procurement, ideally in the environment of a public company, a government agency, or the IT service industry.
• Tool & Method Knowledge: You have in-depth commercial and award law knowledge (VgV, UVgO, GWB), combined with a pronounced technical understanding and a high affinity for complex IT and TI topics. The use of modern tools is a matter of course for you. Ideally, you have already gained experience with e-procurement solutions such as DTVP (cosinex) as well as modern ERP applications, for example, Oracle NetSuite.
• Work Style: You have demonstrable experience in managing complex projects and in the technical management of interdisciplinary project teams and stakeholders. Even under high workload, you work in a structured, analytical, and goal-oriented manner and always keep an overview of complex interdependencies.
• Personality: You are a negotiation and assertive personality with a pronounced sense for successful stakeholder management. With your convincing communication, you manage to bring together different interests and successfully lead projects to their goal.
• Language: Your very good German and English skills in speech and writing complete your profile.
