About the Position

Senior Product Manager

Bengaluru, Karnataka

Product Management / Full Time / Hybrid

Greenlight is a family technology company on a mission to help families raise financially smart kids and navigate life together. Its suite of products - including the Greenlight app, debit card, Safe Family GPS trackers, and Family Hub - brings together financial tools, safety features, and everyday family management in one connected experience. Designed for busy families who want convenience without compromise, Greenlight continues to innovate alongside the evolving needs of modern life. Today, more than 6.5 million family members trust Greenlight to stay in sync.

At Greenlight, we're here to make the day-to-day easier and futures brighter, so families can spend less time managing life, and more time living it. That's why we get out of bed every morning.

Common Platforms builds the foundations every other product team depends on. Access, identity management, authentication, and notifications are the foundation every Greenlight experience runs on, they decide who gets into the door, and whether the right person hears from us at the right moment. We're looking for a Senior Product Manager, Common Platforms to own this layer end-to-end: the Identity and access management, the permissions that govern what parents and kids can each do, and the multi-channel notification platform that reaches millions of families every day.

This is a high-leverage, high-trust role at the center of Greenlight's platform organization. Your customers are both the families using our products who should never have to think about any of this and the product teams building on top of you, who ship faster when your systems are reliable. You'll work cross-functionally across teams at Greenlight (US & India), and you'll have direct line-of-sight to executive leadership on the decisions that shape customer trust and platform reliability. The right person thinks in systems, and is comfortable building core platform products.

This role reports to the Director of Product and sits within the Common Platforms team.

Responsibilities

  • Working closely with Engineering and Design to ensure building great products.
  • Collaborating closely with key stakeholders for new requirements and ensuring to keep teams updated on ongoing items.
  • Owning the key metrics for your product and ensuring the reliability of the product.
  • Being embedded in a dedicated cross-functional pod with Engineering and Design, with close partnerships across Security, Risk and Compliance, Legal, Data, Customer Support, and the consumer product teams who depend on your platform.

Requirements

  • 6+ years in product management, with at least 2 years building platform products.
  • Comfortable building long-term strategy for your product vertical and driving key projects independently end to end.
  • Strong cross-functional instincts - you’ve navigated complex stakeholder environments including Risk, Legal, Compliance, and Payments, and know how to move fast within constraints.
  • Executive presence: you communicate up and across clearly, adapt your message to your audience, and don’t wait to be asked for updates.
  • Ownership mentality - you proactively identify gaps, propose solutions, and follow through. You don’t need a playbook to get started.
  • Urgency and scrappiness: experience in fast-paced, high-growth environments where speed matters and you figure things out yourself.

Nice to Have

  • Fintech experience or a familiarity with identity and access management (IAM), authentication standards.

We Offer

  • Competitive salary
  • Opportunity to work in a dynamic and innovative environment
  • Collaborative and inclusive work culture

About the Company

It takes a talented team to aim for a mission like ours. We're looking for people who ask "is it bold enough?" People who bring their real selves to the table and push the people around them to do the same. We win by never hesitating to jump in, offer a hand, or share the credit, because we know we're stronger together than apart. And through all of it, the mission stays the thing we measure ourselves against: are we doing right by the families counting on us? If that sounds like your kind of team, we'd love for you to apply.
