About the Position

SOLCOM GmbH is seeking a Senior Project Manager for plant and site development within our growth initiative. This role involves managing complex construction and development projects.

Responsibilities

Responsibility for complex projects of plant and site development within the growth initiative
Management of construction, infrastructure, and development projects from conception to realization
Translation of strategic requirements into specific site, building, and infrastructure measures
Management of external planning and execution partners
Interface management between departments, users, authorities, and service providers
Support in approval and coordination procedures
Project management across all relevant performance phases (ideally LP0 to LP4 and beyond)
Development of existing sites and establishment of new infrastructure capacities
Support in investment and development projects in the environment of critical infrastructure

Requirements

Must-haves

Several years of experience as a project manager, program manager, or senior project manager in the field of construction, real estate, plant development, or infrastructure
Proven experience in managing complex construction and development projects
Experience with industrial, production, or special buildings
Excellent knowledge in project management, client representation, and stakeholder management
Experience with authorities and approval processes
Knowledge of relevant regulations and standards (HOAI, BImSchG, etc.)
Experience in managing external service providers and master planners
Strong communication and persuasion skills
Willingness to undergo a security clearance (at least Ü2-capable)
Experience in the environment of critical infrastructure is advantageous

Nice-to-haves

Experience in the defense or security environment
Cleanroom experience
Experience with security and access concepts
Knowledge in the environment of NATO-related projects
Experience in plant structure and site development projects with an investment volume of > 50 million euros
Knowledge of ESD, security, or cleanroom requirements
Experience in international industrial projects
