About the Position
We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Python Developer with 10+ years of software development experience and strong expertise in designing, developing, and deploying scalable backend systems, RESTful APIs, and microservices-based applications. You should possess deep knowledge of Python frameworks, cloud-native architectures, containerization, CI/CD practices, and distributed systems. You will work closely with architects, product owners, DevOps engineers, and cross-functional teams to build high-performance enterprise applications.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain robust backend applications using Python.
- Build scalable REST APIs and Microservices for enterprise-grade applications.
- Create reusable, secure, and high-performance backend services.
- Design and optimize database schemas, queries, and data processing workflows.
- Develop event-driven and asynchronous applications using modern Python frameworks.
- Implement API security, authentication, and authorization mechanisms.
- Collaborate with frontend teams to define API contracts and integrations.
- Troubleshoot production issues, conduct root cause analysis, and implement fixes.
- Participate in architecture discussions and technical decision-making.
- Drive best practices in coding standards, testing, code reviews, and documentation.
- Mentor junior developers and provide technical leadership.
- Work with DevOps teams on CI/CD pipelines, deployment automation, and monitoring.
Requirements
- 10+ years of software development experience with at least 7+ years in Python.
