Senior Python Engineer

About the Position

We are looking for a proactive, detail-oriented, and focused on quality of work Senior Python Engineer to join our growing team in Lviv, Ukraine. Our client specializes in remotely controlling and optimizing HVAC (Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning) systems to achieve automatic energy savings. By utilizing advanced technology, their goal is to enhance the efficiency of HVAC systems in apartment buildings, delivering significant cost savings and reducing energy consumption.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop scalable backend services
• Write clean, maintainable code
• Collaborate with frontend team

Requirements

Tech Skills

• 4+ years of experience as a Python Developer
• Experience with Flask, Django framework
• Experience with Azure, AWS cloud services
• Experience with API development
• Experience with SQL (PostgreSQL), NoSQL (MongoDB)
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes
• Experience with CI/CD
• Understanding of unit tests
• Understanding and ability to apply in practice the OOP and SOLID principles
• Knowledge of Scrum (Agile)
• Experience with React.js would be a plus

Soft Skills

• Problem-solving, analytical thinking
• Attention to detail and code efficiency
• Ability to work closely with customers, analyze software requirements
• Keen to constantly learn and improve your own skills, and not afraid to learn new things
• Strong communication skills
• At least Upper-Intermediate English level (speaking & writing)
