Responsibilities

• Improvement of delivered features: Ensure top-notch quality and reduce user complaints.
• Automated test framework: Develop from scratch.
• Testing: Integration, end-to-end, functional, and regression tests.
• Preventing bugs: Focus on avoiding issues that impact production, sales, and crucial functionality.
• Microservices and API use cases: Use tools like Postman, SOAP, and REST.
• Test case creation: For manual and automated tests.
• Manual testing: Development and execution of test case scenarios.
• Quality assurance: Independent investigation and proposal of new methods.
• Reporting: Document all discovered errors/bugs.
• Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver tasks on time and to the expected quality.

Requirements

• Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience: At least 5 years in software quality assurance and test automation.
• Skills:
  • Developing automated test scripts using JavaScript/TypeScript, Python, or Ruby.
  • Experience with test automation frameworks such as Cypress, Selenium, or JEST.
  • Strong understanding of software development lifecycles, QA methodologies, and testing processes.
  • Experience designing test strategies and test plans across multiple teams or products.
  • Proven experience integrating automated testing into CI/CD pipelines.
  • Testing APIs and integrations using tools such as Postman, REST APIs, SOAP, and Swagger/OpenAPI.
  • Experience with functional, integration, and end-to-end scenarios across web applications. Mobile testing experience (e.g., Appium) is a plus.
  • Understanding of data representation technologies such as JSON and XML.
  • Experience working with relational databases, preferably PostgreSQL, and confidence in validating data at the database level.
  • Ability to analyze application logs and service metrics and troubleshoot issues across distributed systems.
  • Experience with Payment Service Provider (PSP) integrations is highly desirable.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms, preferably Google Cloud Platform (GCP), is an advantage.
  • Experience working in Agile environments and with tools such as Jira.
• Soft Skills:
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
