Senior SAP ABAP Developer

About the Position

We are seeking a skilled Senior SAP ABAP Developer to join our team and contribute to the design, development, and delivery of high-quality SAP solutions. In this role, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams within an Agile environment to build robust applications aligned with SAP's programming model and modern development practices.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and specify business requirements
• Perform modeling, design, implementation, and testing based on the SAP programming model and processes
• Collaborate with other development teams and product management specialists
• Participate in the Agile (Scrum) development process within an Agile (Scrum) development team
• Ensure high-quality delivery by creating and executing test cases, specifying and designing reviews, and holding code reviews
• Maintain and correct the delivery process

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in SAP ABAP development
• Experience in Agile (Scrum) development with an expert understanding of application and software architecture
• Strong proficiency in ABAP programming, including RAP, ABAP OO, and Design Patterns
• Background in ABAP for SAP S/4HANA development (CDS, Fiori elements/SmartTemplates, etc.)
• Expertise in SAP NetWeaver Gateway and OData services
• Skills in BOPF, BOL, and other ABAP frameworks
• Understanding of ABAP Test Cockpit, ABAP Performance Tuning, and Runtime Analysis Tools and Techniques
• Familiarity with SAP systems functionality and good knowledge of SAP S/4HANA functional areas
• Proven ability to work both independently and as part of an international project team
• Intermediate or upper-intermediate level of the English language

Nice to Have

• Knowledge of SAPUI5, SAP HANA Platform, and SAP Cloud Platform
• Competency in ABAP PaaS development techniques such as Side-by-Side Extensibility
• Familiarity with SAP Cloud Application Programming Model, SAP Cloud SDK, and RESTful ABAP
