About the Position

We're seeking a Senior Software Engineer with expertise in .NET Core, Go, and cloud-native microservices for remote B2B contracts with Swiss and EU companies.

About Me

Operating as a fully registered independent contractor (B2B). Available for remote contracts with Swiss and EU companies.

Hourly rate: 80 - 110 EUR (negotiable depending on the contract duration, workload, and complexity of the project)

Focus:.NET, C#, Golang, Microservices, Azure, Copilot

Responsibilities

Design and develop scalable backend systems using .NET Core/8, ASP.NET Core Web API, EFCore, and Go.
Build RESTful APIs, microservices, and monolithic architectures following SOLID, DDD, and clean architecture principles.
Develop cloud-native solutions utilizing Azure (Service Bus, CosmosDB, Config) and AWS (EC2, S3).
Implement containerized deployments using Docker and Kubernetes (Rancher), and CI/CD pipelines via Azure DevOps and GitHub.
Design high-observability backend ecosystems with ElasticSearch and Grafana.
Work with SQL databases (MS SQL Server, MySQL) and NoSQL databases (Redis, Azure CosmosDB, ElasticSearch, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, AWS S3).
Develop UI components and integrate them with backend services using WPF, XAML, HTML, CSS, and WinForms.
Write unit, integration, and regression tests using xUnit, FluentAssertions, Mock, and Swagger/OpenAPI.
Utilize GitHub Copilot in agent mode with modern LLMs to improve development efficiency and software craftsmanship.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams in Agile environments using Scrum, Kanban, Jira, and Confluence.
Optimize performance using multithreading, async programming, LINQ, and performance tuning.
