Senior Software Engineer, Python

About the Position

We are looking for a highly motivated Python Engineer to design, implement, and maintain efficient and scalable software solutions using Python.

Responsibilities

• Estimate tasks provided by a Project Manager (PM) or Technology Lead (TL);
• Complete tasks from PM or TL within the estimated time;
• Participate in the SCRUM process;
• Participate in project development;
• Perform technical research;
• Keep technical documentation of the project;
• Prepare reports;
• Communicate with customers;
• Work on improvements of the current project.

Requirements

• Strong knowledge and experience with languages and frameworks: Python 3+, Django / FastAPI / Flask / aiohttp;
• Experience using such tools: Unix operating system / Windows WSL, Pip, Pipenv, Poetry (optional), Conda (optional), bash basic commands (cd, cp, mv, ls, ps, ssh, find, grep at least), GIT;
• Experience with technology: Python unit tests / Pytest (preferred), Celery, Channels, SQLAlchemy, ELK (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana), Tensorflow, Numpy, pandas, Apache Spark, Docker;
• Strong experience with the listed storages / brokers: PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, Redis, RabbitMQ, SQS;
• Experience with Cloud services: AWS, Google, DigitalOcean;
• Knowledge of architecture: MVC, REST, SOLID, DRY, KISS.
