Senior Solution Architect/Solution Architect: Java with AI

About the Position

We are seeking an experienced Solution Architect with deep specialization in AI technologies and Application Modernization to lead the design and delivery of transformative AI solutions for our clients. This role combines technical expertise in AI architecture with practical experience in modernizing legacy systems and evolving enterprise platforms.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop AI-driven solutions and agentic platforms that deliver measurable business value
• Lead application modernization initiatives that incorporate AI technologies to enhance and transform existing systems
• Assess legacy systems and recommend modernization strategies that enable AI integration
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand client requirements and translate them into technical solutions
• Implement and optimize Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) models for enterprise applications
• Conduct research to stay updated on the latest trends and advancements in AI technologies and modernization patterns
• Design migration pathways from monolithic to microservices, cloud-native, or AI-enabled architectures
• Ensure seamless integration of AI solutions with existing systems and platforms
• Communicate effectively with clients and stakeholders to present solutions and gather feedback

Requirements

• Proven experience of 15-20 years as a Solution Architect, particularly in AI technologies and application modernization
• Hands-on experience with Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) models in production environments
• Expertise in application modernization, including legacy system assessment, refactoring strategies, and monolith-to-microservices transformation
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Strong research skills to stay abreast of the latest AI trends, modernization patterns, and technologies
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills

Nice to Have

• Familiarity with AI and machine learning frameworks and tools such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, and scikit-learn
• Previous experience in developing agentic platforms
• Familiarity with containerization, orchestration, and cloud platforms such as Docker, Kubernetes, and AWS, Azure, GCP
• Background in cloud migration and cloud-native architecture design
• Experience with enterprise integration patterns and middleware technologies
• Experience with hybrid or multi-cloud environments
• Familiarity with FinOps, observability, and cloud governance
• Background in supporting production workloads with high availability and disaster recovery considerations
• Experience with Hybris ecommerce
