Senior Supply Chain Manager (m/w/d)

About the Position

We are seeking a Senior Supply Chain Manager (m/w/d) to join our team in München, DE. This role involves building and managing supply chains from the ground up, ensuring the procurement of components and assemblies, and negotiating contracts with suppliers.

Responsibilities

• Build and manage supply chains from the ground up
• Take responsibility for procurement of components and assemblies
• Select, build, and manage suppliers, including Tier-1 suppliers
• Prepare and conduct price, condition, and framework contract negotiations
• Support industrialization phases and ensure material supply
• Consider export control requirements and ITAR restrictions
• Coordinate closely with internal departments and suppliers

Requirements

Must-haves

• At least five years of experience in procurement or supply chain management
• Proven experience in building a supply chain from the ground up
• Experience in the defense or aerospace sector
• Experience in procurement of electronic components and assemblies
• Experience in working and negotiating with Tier-1 suppliers
• Experience in negotiating framework contracts
• Experience in industrialization phases
• Knowledge and practical experience with export control and ITAR restrictions is advantageous
• Strategic approach with a pragmatic, implementation-oriented mindset
• Confident demeanor and strong negotiation skills
• Fluency in German and English
• Willingness to work on-site five days a week

Nice-to-haves

• Military background or experience with military clients and their requirements
• Security clearance Ü2 – a significant advantage
