Senior Test Automation Engineer with Java (f/m/x)

About the Position

We are looking for an experienced Senior Test Automation Engineer to join a project delivered in cooperation with a global organization operating in the medical and life sciences domain. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining automated tests, ensuring software quality, and supporting CI/CD processes within an Agile/Scrum environment.

You will work with modern Java-based testing tools and contribute to solutions developed in a highly regulated environment, where quality and reliability are key. The role offers a hybrid work model with regular collaboration from our Wrocław office. Responsibilities

• Developing and maintaining automated tests to ensure software quality
• Designing and implementing test strategies for UI and API testing
• Collaborating with the development team to integrate automated tests into the CI/CD pipeline
• Analyzing test results and identifying areas for improvement
• Creating and maintaining technical documentation related to testing processes
• Mentoring junior team members in best practices for test automation
• Staying up-to-date with the latest trends in test automation and software quality assurance

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of experience in test automation with Java
• Proven experience with UI automation testing tools or frameworks, preferably TestFX
• Hands-on experience with build tools such as Gradle and/or Maven
• Solid understanding of API testing methodologies
• Advanced level of Polish and English

Nice to Have

• Experience with AI-supported testing tools
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools like Azure DevOps, Jenkins, or GitHub Actions
• Knowledge of task and test management tools such as JIRA, Xray, TestRail, or Zephyr
• Experience in regulated environments, particularly in the medical industry
• Familiarity with IEC 62304 standards for medical software lifecycle
