You will contribute to the next generation of web-based UI and the manageability layer of Riverbed’s optimization products, working on the full development stack. You will work with a dynamic team of engineers and UX designers to build beautiful, clean and consistent user interfaces. You will work with modern web development tools to shape our clients' experience of central management. You will work on a JavaScript and Python-based framework to build the business intelligence required to drive network management, and the REST APIs that the web UI and customers' toolsets consume.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to the next generation of web-based UI and the manageability layer of Riverbed’s optimization products.
• Work with a dynamic team of engineers and UX designers.
• Build beautiful, clean, and consistent user interfaces.
• Shape clients' experience of central management using modern web development tools.
• Develop business intelligence using a JavaScript and Python-based framework.
• Build REST APIs that the web UI and customers' toolsets consume.

Requirements

• Minimum 7 years’ experience in web application development with experience in user-facing application/enterprise development.
• A computer science background (BS or Masters).
• Fluency in JavaScript and experience with basic frameworks such as YUI, jQuery, etc. is required.
• Experience with browser-side MVC and modern templating frameworks such as Angular, Polymer, React, Backbone, Handlebars, etc is important.
• Solid backend design experience.
• Automation experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Comfortable with multiple languages.
• Experience with, developed, or architected ReST APIs.
• Proficient with testing (Unit testing, system testing, or test-driven development).
• Working (or better) knowledge of a cloud platform (AWS, Azure, OpenStack, etc.).
• Ability to understand and contribute toward discussions around user experience and responsive design.
