Senior/Lead QA Automation Tester (All Locations)

About the Position

Noesis is looking for a Senior/Lead QA Automation Tester with strong technical skills (automation / coding) and the ability to lead other colleagues in technical tasks. You will work in one of our offices (Lisboa, Porto, Coimbra, Guarda, Covilhã, or Castelo Branco) in a Hybrid work model.

Responsibilities

• Lead and perform automation testing using tools such as Cypress, Selenium / Serenity, Playwright, Page Objects, and Gherkin.
• Conduct backend testing with API test tools like Talend API Tester, Postman, and Swagger.
• Perform GUI manual testing on web applications and use console / network tools.
• Test 3rd party / integrated systems.
• Write code in Java, Javascript / Typescript.
• Create and maintain test documentation and reports using Git pages, Opentext, and Allure report.
• Manage tests with Testmo.
• Implement CI/CD concepts.
• Handle events streaming with Kafka.
• Monitor logs with Grafana loki.
• Model processes with Camunda workflow engine.
• Execute DB queries with SQL.

Requirements

• At least 7 years of experience in automation testing.
• Team leading skills.
• Proficiency in backend testing with API test tools.
• Experience in GUI manual testing.
• 3rd party / integrated systems testing experience.
• Coding skills in Java, Javascript / Typescript.
• Ability to create and maintain test documentation and reports.
• Test management experience with Testmo.
• Familiarity with CI/CD concepts.
• Experience with events streaming using Kafka.
• Log monitoring with Grafana loki.
• Process modeling with Camunda workflow engine.
• DB querying with SQL.
• Advanced English proficiency.
