About the Role and Mission

Act in the Customer Intelligence team in the development and evolution of microservices in Java, ensuring quality, performance, and integration with other systems.

Daily Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain APIs and microservices in Java (Spring Boot, Micronaut or similar).
• Model RESTful APIs following the API First approach (Swagger/OpenAPI).
• Participate in code reviews and follow the team's code and architecture standards.
• Write automated tests (unit and integration).
• Integrate services with relational and non-relational databases, queues, and internal/external APIs.
• Implement secure solutions, using authentication/authorization (JWT, OAuth2, Basic Auth).
• Document relevant application decisions and behaviors.
• Support less experienced people and propose process and technical improvements.
• Participate in architectural decisions, contributing with good design and scalability practices.

Requirements

Required

• Completed higher education.
• Java 8+ and Spring ecosystem (Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, Hibernate/JPA).
• Experience with microservices architecture, messaging (Kafka, SQS, SNS), cache, and observability.
• Kubernetes (EKS) and modeling/optimization of databases (PostgreSQL, SQL Server, MongoDB, DynamoDB).
• Good practices of deployment/CI.
• 5+ years in backend, with technical leadership or mentorship.
• Availability to work on-site in: Belo Horizonte (MG), São Paulo, Curitiba, or Recife.

Desired

• Experience with Micronaut or other frameworks besides Spring.
• Experience with AWS: EC2, EKS, S3, SQS, SNS, Lambda, CloudFront, ELB, Terraform, or CloudFormation.
• Knowledge of security for web applications and microservices (authentication/authorization).
• Gitflow practice, CI/CD (GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, Jenkins).
• Use of AI tools for development (Copilot, Cursor, etc.) with awareness of good practices.
• Experience with agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) and DevOps practices.
