About the Role and Mission

You will act in the technological heart of Inter’s Home Broker - microservices in production impacting millions of customers. Complex integrations with Nelogica, balance between delivery and stability, evolution of Java/cache architecture, cross-squad collaboration with operations and business.

Daily Responsibilities

• Develop, evolve, and sustain microservices of the investment ecosystem (Home Broker, limits, Trade Load).
• Implement and maintain integrations with Nelogica, variable income APIs, and internal systems.
• Participate in code reviews, automated tests, and deploys in HML/PRD.
• Support investigation and resolution of incidents in production, including war rooms when necessary.
• Contribute to technical and architectural decisions, balancing new features and maintenance.
• Collaborate with Product, Operations, and partner squads to meet business and regulatory requirements (CVM, B3).
• Mentor junior developers and share knowledge with the team.
• Identify bottlenecks, technical debts, and opportunities for improvement in performance and observability.

Requirements

Required:

• Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or related fields (or equivalent experience).
• Availability to work on-site in Belo Horizonte.
• Minimum of 4 to 6 years of software development experience, with at least 2–3 years in backend and microservices in production.
• Solid experience with Java and microservices architecture (REST APIs).
• Experience with CI/CD, cloud deployment, and Kubernetes.
• Ability to autonomously debug in production environments (logs, metrics, tracing).
• Experience with code review, testing, and good software engineering practices.
• Ability to translate business requirements into technical specifications and incremental deliveries.
• Collaborative profile, clear communication, and focus on business value.
• Java, Git/GitLab, Kubernetes, REST APIs, and IntelliJ will be tools used daily.

Desirable:

• Experience in fintech, brokerage, or investment domain (home broker, variable income).
• Integration with Nelogica or trading platforms.
• Valkey/Redis, observability, and service mesh.
• Knowledge of the regulatory context CVM/B3.
• Software architecture and API design.
• English for reading technical documentation.
• Automation and AI applied to development.
