About the Role and Mission

The position will be responsible for ensuring technical excellence throughout the product lifecycle, from conception and solution design to production support. We are looking for someone with strong technical ability, strategic vision, and a collaborative profile, who will act as a reference for the team and directly contribute to the technological evolution of Inter's Digital Account.

This person will play a fundamental role in defining architectures, disseminating best practices, mentoring developers, and making high-impact technical decisions.

Daily Responsibilities

• Act as the team's technical reference, supporting developers in building scalable and resilient solutions.
• Lead architectural discussions and define technical standards.
• Develop solutions using Java and modern technologies.
• Work with microservices, event-driven architecture, and cloud-native applications.
• Promote best practices in engineering such as TDD, Clean Code, DDD, and code reviews.
• Actively participate in the evolution of critical and high-volume systems.
• Conduct performance analysis, troubleshooting, and continuous optimization.
• Work on the modernization of applications and technological evolution of products.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams in an agile and innovative environment.

Requirements

Required:

• Solid experience with object-oriented development, especially Java and Python.
• Advanced experience with microservices architecture.
• Deep knowledge of TDD, DDD, Clean Code, and Hexagonal Architecture.
• Experience in agile environments (Scrum/Kanban).
• Ability to solve complex problems and work in high-criticality scenarios.
• Proficiency with Git/Git Flow.
• Experience with Spring Boot and/or Micronaut.
• Experience with Kafka, messaging, and event-driven architecture.
• Practical experience with AWS, Docker, and Kubernetes.
• Knowledge of relational and NoSQL databases.
• Experience with APIs and API Management platforms.

Desirable:

• Experience with Artificial Intelligence and services like Bedrock.
• Experience with Spark and distributed processing.
• Experience in high-scale and high-transactional volume environments.
• Previous experience in fintechs, digital banks, or large technology companies.
