Software Engineer

About the Position

We are seeking a Software Engineer with 3+ years of commercial Java development experience to join our team in a remote position.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and optimize bidding strategies for high-performance systems.
• Analyze and improve existing algorithms to maximize efficiency and performance.
• Debug complex production issues and identify optimization opportunities.
• Develop scalable, low-latency Java services and distributed applications.
• Collaborate with product managers, data scientists, and engineering teams to deliver innovative solutions.
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code.
• Participate in architecture discussions and technical decision-making.
• Continuously improve system reliability, scalability, and performance.

Requirements

• 3+ years of commercial Java development experience.
• Strong knowledge of Java, multithreading, concurrency, and distributed systems.
• Experience building performance-critical backend applications.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with algorithms, optimization, and complex business logic.
• Understanding of software architecture and design patterns.
• Experience with SQL and relational databases.
• Familiarity with CI/CD and Git.

• FinTech / High-Frequency Trading (HFT) – low-latency pricing engines, order routing, risk models, trading platforms.
• Logistics & Supply Chain – route optimization, warehouse capacity planning, dynamic pricing, delivery optimization.
• Industrial Automation / Simulation – control systems, PID controllers, optimization algorithms.
• Game Backend Development – matchmaking algorithms, game economy balancing, reward systems, dynamic probability models.
• AdTech / RTB platforms – real-time bidding, auction algorithms, bidding optimization.
