Responsibilities

• Work closely with Tech leads and architects, Kanban master, QA, and PM to deliver high-quality work
• Develop complex features
• Provide good code coverage in unit and integration testing
• Make daily technical decisions
• Communicate professionally with other cross-functional team representatives
• Be ready for sustenance in areas under the engineer's responsibility

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in enterprise application design and development
• 2+ years of experience in backend applications development
• Proven ability to deliver solutions, offer implementation support, and engage with customers
• 1+ years of experience in building scalable distributed data systems using Java and Cloud Technology
• Good technical background with previous development experience for enterprise customers
• Strong Java knowledge (Java 8 and above), Java Runtime basics
• Provide technical mentorship and leadership to junior team members
• Hands-on technically, comfortable reviewing and writing code
• Solid foundation in computer science, with strong competencies in algorithms, data structures, software design, and building large, distributed systems
• Experience in performance optimizations, code profiling, and Java application runtime analysis

Nice to Have

• Experience in customer support in the SaaS area
• Experience in building scalable distributed data systems using Cloud Technology
• Technical background with previous development experience for enterprise customers
• Experience with Big Data Technologies
• Experience with No-SQL databases
• Experience with cloud-managed services - AWS, GBT, Azure
• MS or equivalent experience
