About the Position

We are seeking a Software Quality Engineer to contribute to the development of a medical imaging product portfolio, ensuring product functionalities meet customer needs. Working as part of a Scrum team, the engineer helps deliver the product functionalities defined in the roadmap together with teammates. As a customer-focused role, the engineer ensures that daily testing activities reflect real customer needs.

Responsibilities

  • Understand functional needs and translate them into testing / acceptance activities
  • Design test plans, scenarios, scripts, and procedures
  • Execute test plans, collect, and report results with rigor
  • Collaborate with Software Developers and Product Owners to meet customer needs and quality standards
  • Collaborate with Software Quality Engineers from other Scrum teams to ensure alignment on test practices across teams
  • Interact with other Scrum teams based in France and China for broader capability delivery
  • Accountable, together with the Scrum team, for the quality of products delivered to end customers (market fit driven by the Product Owner; timelines driven by the Program Manager and facilitated by the Scrum Master)

Requirements

  • Must have

    • Bachelor's degree or higher
    • Basic understanding of cloud environments and their specificities
    • Clear thinker and writer, with an analytical / problem-solving mindset
    • Writing clear test scenarios, ideally following the Gherkin convention
    • Rigor in using a test management tool (e.g. JAMA, Quality Center)
    • Experience testing in cloud-based environments (online, complex systems)
    • Rigor in creating test plans, executing them, and collecting results
    • Understanding of a scripting language (JavaScript, Python, etc.) is a plus
    • Comfortable with English - written at minimum, spoken preferred
    • Customer Focus in every task
    • Team player, easy to collaborate with
    • Continuous improvement and passion for quality
  • Nice to have

    • French language is a plus
